Tomás Luis de Victoria's music is basically polyphonic and religious. Precisely for this second feature, to study Victoria's masterpieces we must take into accont the use the monodic music during the divine services in Victoria's life. To know this repertory we would like to highlith the efforts of the Cantus Manuscript Database. It is a webpage organized by group of researchers (around seventy), mainly based in Anglo-Saxon universities, although not only. To configure this repository, researchers have delved into European manuscripts and printed books of both antiphonaries, breviaries and antiphons, offering musicologists a fundamental tool for the study of European liturgical music of the Middle Ages and Modernity.
