The Granada International Music and Dance Festival, which fortunately will take place in the edition of this year  (despite the CoVid-19 crisis), also bets on early music and Tomás Luis de Victoria. According to his program, which can be consulted on his website, on Saturday, July 11, in its morning concert session (12:00) at the Monastery of San Jerónimo, a concert entitled "Renaissance Glories" will be held by the coir 'Tenebrae' conducted by Nigel Short.

The religiosity of the Community of the Oratory of San Felipe Neri was one of the experiences that marked the stay of Tomás Luis de Victoria in Rome. That is the reason why encourage to all scholars to participate in the international conference "Congregation of the Oratory of Saint Philip Neri: Art and Culture", which will take place at the University of Lisbon from October 15 to 17, 2020. Proposals about all arts and cultural expressions linked to this congregation (also music) will be wellcomed.

The Foundation "Tatiana Pérez de Guzmán el Bueno" organizes a  serie of three (virtual) conferences about to the music of Tomás Luis de Victoriy. Specifically, the three scheduled conferences will focus on (1) "Lamentationes a Ieremiae Prophetae. Tomás Luis de Victoria. From theological root to the musical vision in a contemporary view" (April 3); (2) Officium Defunctorum, Tomás Luis De Victoria. Visions of death and life. The Musik-Kurswochen, Arosa, organizes a new course about early music, in this case focused on music for portable organ and voice. The couse will take place between July 12 and 18, 2020. Proffesrors will be  Catalina Vicens (in charge of organ, clavichord and musical theory) and Marc Mauillon (responsible for the voice and rhetoric parts).

The University of Utrecht organizes a new summer course about early music, specifically focused on the theme "Let's Talk-Ars Rethorica". The course will explore the musical repertoire between ca. 800 and ca. 1600. Among the objectives of the course are to introduce this music in its cultural, religious, political and historical context, with special emphasis on musical theory and the modes of transmission of this music (both with regard to the notation systems as to oral transmission). Musical works ill be also analyzed and listened.

On March 8 and 9, the city of Morella will host the III MedyRen International Congress, entitled "Early music, architectural spaces and new technologies". It will meet specialists from different regions of Spain, as well as from England, France and Switzerland to discuss new perspectives for the study of early music from an optics focused on acoustics and new technologies.
